More about the Maryland Section
The Maryland Section was founded in 1914. It serves the state of Maryland, EXCEPT Montgomery and Prince George's Counties (part of the National Capital Section). The Maryland Section also serves the City of College Park because the University of Maryland is one of our student chapters.
Maryland is located in ASCE's Region 2, including MD, Delaware, DC, and Pennsylvania. Region 2 is part of the larger Eastern Region, which includes regions 1,2,4 and 5.
